When it comes to adding maximum value and "wow" factor on HGTV's Rock the Block, the details matter. In Season 7, Episode 2, the competition moved to the Great Room, Foyer, and Den spaces. Design duo Taniya Nayak and Drew Lachey had a brilliant vision for this North Las Vegas residence: they wanted to create an expansive, open entertainment area complete with a bar, but they knew that having a busy bar in plain sight isn't always desirable in an elegant living space.
Their solution? A breathtaking, glass-enclosed wine wall that doubles as a secret entrance to a hidden speakeasy.
"Those wine racks are quite special, too," judge Michel Smith Boyd said as they explored the cellar in the episode.
The Design
To achieve their vision, Taniya and Drew enclosed the wine space with sleek, frameless glass, creating an elegant transition between the living area and the hidden bar. They opted for a beautifully minimal look using the VintageView Vino Pins Post System.
