Not quite summer and not quite ‘full-blown’ fall, September is transitional month full of changing colors and shifting mindsets. This mark of autumn gives designers room to create some wine cellar magic to prep for the entertaining months ahead, with the help of a few aesthetics we can’t get enough of.
By mixing heavy metal, natural wood, and cozy finishes; you get a theme that is warm, bright and timeless.
Now pour yourself a glass of your favorite wine, sit back and get inspired!
Heavy Metal
No, we are not going to talk about favorite rock bands from the early 70’s... though we do love some a glass of Cabernet and Metallica on vinyl.
While studded belts and mohawks may be what first comes to mind, we are talking about an edgier side of design. Our matte black finish pairs perfectly with black paneling around glass, black fireplaces and black accent pieces or décor that pop all throughout the house. Sometimes, the best way to enhance a space is to repeat an element. Not only does it create the feeling of unity within a home, but it can also help create texture and bring the project to life.
When it comes to 'heavy metal' wine storage, you have options.
You can go with something more traditional, like the W Series. Or maybe you want to create a rustic-inspired wine wall design with our Le Rustique. No matter what your style is, we've got you covered!
Natural Wood
Warm, bright and open. This compelling Boca Raton home uses natural wood throughout the home, emitting a welcoming energy. SRD Builders is the mastermind behind this compelling wine cellar design. The use of our W series wall-mounted wine racks in a matte black finish, installed on wood paneling, keeps things clean and cozy.
After several years of all-white everything, natural wood is growing in popularity once again. This year has definitely seen the resurgence of natural wood finishes for interiors — something that’s going to continue to gain popularity in 2023. The trend is leaning towards warm, rich colors like brown and orange that add warmth to any room while still maintaining an elegant aesthetic.
Cozy Finishes
It's that time of year again. As the leaves start to change colors, we begin thinking about what we have on our list for fall.
Some things that come to mind are wine (of course), a good novel, vinyl and textured furniture. This rendering of our Vino Series Flex series is a perfect example of how to incorporate your collection as a piece of art. The feng shui of this living room ties things together nicely, with the cloud sofa and light tones.
