POSITION OVERVIEW:
- The Director of Sales Operations will be responsible for all sales operations, systems, and enablement
- This position will ensure the sales team operates efficiently and effectively.
- This role will provide the sales team with tools, processes, and systems to drive high performance.
- The Director will focus on sales analytics, forecasting, territory management, and the maintenance of CRM and sales tools to support revenue growth and operational efficiency.
- They will also oversee sales performance tracking, goal setting, and compensation structures.
- The Director will be responsible for the coordination, planning and launch of new markets and products.
- Analyze market trends and data to inform strategy and decision-making
- Drive the opportunity & pipeline management standards, processes and reporting for the company
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives to increase sales efficiency and effectiveness
- This role will also be responsible for leading our team of sales coordinators, a key team that enables our sales force
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE BUT ARE NOT LIMITED TO THE FOLLOWING:
- Develop and maintain sales performance reporting and analytics to provide insights and drive team productivity.
- Manage the CRM and other sales tools to ensure accurate, real-time visibility of team performance.
- Lead the team of sales coordinators to support the sales team in achieving their targets.
- Oversee the design and administration of sales territories to maximize coverage and sales potential.
- Establish and manage compensation plans and sales targets in collaboration with the sales leadership.
- Ensure the sales team is equipped with the necessary tools, content, and training for success.
- Provide insights and recommendations for improving sales processes and performance metrics.
- Develop forecasting methods that enhance team collaboration and drive more accurate predictions.
- Lead sales enablement efforts to improve the efficiency and productivity of the sales team.
- Collaborate with HR on hiring, training, and professional development of the sales and sales coordinator teams.
Knowledge, Skills, Education, and Experience “required” for the job:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business or a related field.
- 7+ years of experience in sales operations or related fields, with experience managing sales teams or sales operations teams.
- Strong understanding of CRM systems (e.g., Salesforce) and sales enablement tools.
- Proven ability to lead and implement sales operations strategies that drive revenue growth.
- Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills with a focus on process improvement.
- Strong leadership and communication skills to manage cross-functional teams and drive collaboration.
- Experience with sales forecasting, performance tracking, goal setting and territory management.
